The Lawyer.com has won Business Website of the Year in the Association of Online Publishers awards - the 'industry Oscars' for on-line publishers.
The Lawyer.com beat other short-listed candidates - BrandRepublic.com, IFAonline.co.uk and AccountancyAge.com - to take the award which was presented at a glittering ceremony at the Hilton in Park Lane on Friday October 7th.
The judges, who included senior representatives from all the major on-line publishers, said: The Lawyer.com is packed with highly relevant content for the target audience and manages to present enormous amounts of complex information in a usable way. The site's energetic commercial team has achieved impressive revenue growth of 28 per cent year on year and both commercially and editorially the site is innovative, value driven and accountable.
