Finance Week has won a prestigious award for the quality of its circulation at its launch in November 2004.
The Periodical Publishers Association (PPA) gave Finance Week the Magazines Subscriptions Award for best new launch promotion at a ceremony in London in late November.
Finance Week launched as the first weekly magazine for finance professionals in the UK with a circulation of over 15,000. It submitted an Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) audit just three months after launch. The current ABC average net circulation for the six months to June 2005 is 17,097. The launch has been such a success that the circulation is expected to grow to over 20,000 in 2006. The judges said that Finance Week was 'a clear, compelling proposition, expertly communicated'. It defeated titles from EMAP and CMP Information to win the award.
