Centaur has launched two major new initiatives from the financial services division a monthly magazine and a summit event, both targeting the secured lending market.
Loan Distributor is a monthly magazine catering for the providers of secured loans and the brokers recommending them. Natalie Martin, formerly news editor of Mortgage Strategy, is the editor of the new magazine, and it was launched at the first annual Secured Lending Summit, which was held recently in Jerez Spain.
The Secured Lending Summit will be an annual event sponsored by the major providers of secured loans and attended by the key intermediaries in the sector. It will bring together the major forces in the industry for two days of debate and presentations to help shape the future of the industry.
Publishing Director Patrick Ponsford says, As the pool of financial equity in property in the UK continues to grow, secured loans are increasingly becoming the preferred choice for more and more borrowers. As the number of advisers who recommend these products grows and regulation is looming large, there is a real need for quality editorial coverage and meetings based events. We already have a firm footing in this market with Mortgage Strategy so it was a logical move to launch these new products. Industry feedback has been overwhelmingly positive".
