Mortgage Strategy has run the first of a new style "super summit" at Cliveden. The 20 most influential decision makers in mortgage distribution spent two days debating and discussing the current challenges facing the mortgage market. Conference sessions focused on such issues as the current liquidity crisis, barriers to entering the housing market for first time buyers and the retail distribution revue.
Publishing Director Patrick Ponsford says. "This style of event is the next evolution of our already successful summit model. By limiting the number of spaces to just 20, adopting a 'Chatham House Rules' policy and staging the event at one of the most prestigious venues in the country we have been able to attract a quality and seniority of delegate unlike any other event.
"All those who attended, including the sponsors felt they have achieved a greater insight into the current market turmoil and have a better idea of what the next 12 months has in store and how to tackle it. We now intend the role out the Masters in to our other product areas."
